Overview
Agaricus blazei (syn. Agaricus subrufescens) has been extensively studied in Japan and Brazil for immune modulation. Its beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucan structure is particularly effective at activating macrophages and NK cells. Clinical trials have examined its use as an oncology adjuvant alongside conventional treatment.
