Overview
Cordyceps militaris is the cultivated species used in most modern supplements, with clinical evidence for improved VO2 max, reduced fatigue, and enhanced ATP synthesis. A 2016 trial found significant improvement in oxygen utilisation at 3g/day in older adults. The CS-4 strain has the most human trial data.
