Overview

Chaga grows on birch trees and concentrates betulinic acid from the host tree — a compound studied for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Its ORAC score is among the highest of any natural source. Chaga is best consumed as a hot water extract; alcohol extraction does not improve bioavailability for its primary compounds.
